These services work just fine for small things like Contacts, RDP lists or bookmarks, but they are not going to be automatically be backing up my terabytes of files among 2-3 computers, and certainly do not need TB's of backup to the remote servers on DP, Box or SS servers. ![]() I have Dropbox, Box.net, and SugarSync accounts all with more than 5GB of storage per account (28, 52, and 6GB respectively) and do not charge for transferring bandwidth between my PC's. Like syncing the best songs only from an album on the ipod Touch, and the whole album on the 64GB Playbook. Because of the different size storage on these devices, I want to sync certain music folders to these devices (download a new song, put it one place, and each device may or may not get it based on its syncing configuration). Some of these PC's have folders that I would want to be backed and/or sync'd between a couple of computers (say, bookmarks, or list of RDP computers, etc).Īlso, I have ipod touch, Blackberry Phone, Android Phone, and a Playbook tablet. I also have a few computers at home for various things (HTPC, light webmail, test PC for testing components, netbook, etc). I really don't want to lose any data, or have it inaccessible when a computer is rebooting or offline for repair. On my main PC (same LAN), I also have a raid5, which is mostly mirroring/backing up all the same stuff on the WHS box's Raid 10. ![]() ![]() I have that at home, where I have a WHS 2011 box with 3TB of files on raid 10. When I hear of "Cloud", I expect multiple copies on multiple machines (redundancy) so that your data is always available. I thought Tonido was what I was looking for, but now I don't think so.
